Wilton


Wilton is a rural community with an estimated population at the 2010 census of about 3,677. Scenic and hilly, the town is home to a quaint downtown with the long-standing Wilton Town Theatre, a popular venue known for its spacious, vintage movie theater and giant-size screen common to theaters of the past.

Many beautiful homes, both single-family and multi-family, are located in Wilton’s residential neighborhoods, wooded hills and walkable downtown. Students attend the Florence Rideout Elementary School and the Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative Middle/Senior High School. In addition, the Pine Hill Waldorf School and High Mowing School, private elementary/middle and high schools, are located in Wilton, and host events such as Circus Smirkus.
